Amsterdam - RAI Convention Centre

Reply took part to IBC 2006 - the most important European event dedicated to the broadcasting sector – where there were more than 800 exhibitors from all over the world. The 2006 edition is held in Amsterdam from 8 to 12 September 2006.

At the 2006 edition, based on the main topics of content creation, management and delivery, the latest technologies and emerging business models in the sectors of broadcasting and of the convergence with new media were presented. In particular, a special focus was on the capacity of filing and the management of digital multimedia assets, one of the most important technological challenges all companies and organizations are paying attention to.

With its stand at Pad.8 -Boot 117, Reply presented the recent evolution of its solutions, based on Discovery Reply™ - Reply’s proprietary platform for Digital Asset Management - for content digitalization and cataloguing, and for the management of production workflows.

The long-established IBC Exhibition Stand Design Awards reward the best use of booth space at IBC. Once again the standard was incredibly high, reflecting IBC’s reputation for producing top quality business environment. On Sunday night IBC Exhibition Chairman John Holton presented the prizes to the winners.

The winner of Free Design - Small is Reply (8.117).

Keith Harlow, who chaired the judging panel said, "The competition for the best stand at IBC has always been fierce and this year is no exception. My advice would be to go along and take a look. As well as the stands, there is some great technology to investigate".
